What are the requirements necessary to consider when submitting a track to LÜM’s Sync Program?
The track (composition and master) has to be 100% original. Tracks that have samples, interpolations or infringe on copyrights will not be accepted and may result in your removal from the program.
Tracks will be pitched based on LÜM’s ability to legally clear the music being submitted to the catalog with each of the music’s rights-holders. If you are the only rights-holder to your music, great! If there are multiple rights-holders, make sure to have things like split agreements finalized with the other contributors. If the legal side of your music is in order, it will make it easier for LÜM to pitch and place your music.
LÜM is specifically prioritizing “One-Stop” and “Easy Clear” tracks (see Glossary of Terms below) when receiving requests for music or while actively pitching. Prioritize the tracks that fit these definitions when submitting tracks to the program.
